Ireland’s Buzzing: International Conference on Pollinator Conservation
On the 20-21st May, the international conference ‘Ireland’s Buzzing’ takes place in Limerick City in Ireland. This event will bring together a large audience to learn from international experts about successful pollinator initiatives around the world. Everyone is very welcome to attend.
In 2015, Ireland became one of the first countries in Europe to publish a pollinator strategy: the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan (2015-2020). During the international conference in Limerick, visitors can learn about the challenges and innovative approaches adopted by other national pollinator strategies in Europe, as well as key successes from the first phase of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan (2015-2020). Importantly, the event will provide the audience with an opportunity to contribute their thoughts and ideas into the next version of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan, in order to make the 2021-2025 plan as ambitious as possible.
