Pollinator events at the CoP

During the CoP 14 in Sharm-el-Sheikh, there will be several events that highlight the importance of pollinators.

  • A sign-up event will take place during the High-Level Meeting on Wednesday 14 November, from 18:15. This will be a festive occasion with new members officially joining the Coalition of the Willing. We hope current members will be able to participate and celebrate the continuing growth of the Coalition.
  • The FAO will host a side-event on pollinators and will present the 2nd International Pollinator Initiative. This will take place on Saturday 17 November, starting at 13:15.
  • On Sunday 18 November, 13:00 – 16:00, there will a working session for the members of the Coalition. Members, aspiring members and observers from several multilateral organisations have been invited.
  • Pollination and pollinators will also be themed at the Rio Conventions’ Pavilion on 25 November.
