South Korea celebrates first anniversary of Beekeeping Industry Development Act

On August 4, 2020 Promote Pollinators member South Korea is celebrating the first anniversary of their national Beekeeping Industry Development Act. The National Assembly and National Nature Trust Korea are hosting a debate to celebrate the event.

Lee Gae Ho, chairman of the Agriculture, Food and Maritime Affairs Committee will be leading a debate on the essential topics for the development of the beekeeping industry. The Beekeeping Industry Development Act arose from the global re-examination of the natural conservation function of the beekeeping industry for sustainable farming.
